Previously stored in an outdoor shed without heat, this early 20th century bureau showed definite signs of moisture related problems. The drawers were swelled to the point of being unable to open. Spots of mold, veneer beginning to peel, and joints becoming loose.
Once in our shop, it took two weeks with a dehumidifier running next to it before we could pull the drawers out of the case.

Loose joints and veneer were re-glued, and missing pieces were cut to fit.
