Complete restoration of this piece involved reglueing and replacement of missing veneer and inlay. Repairing a large crack in the back panel of the lower section. Several hours of cleaning the brass hardware and panels. Stripping the finish, sanding and staining. And finally the application of a period style shellac and wax finish.
